After cleaning the extra layer of fine sand off the boat, we have left La Grande Motte for an easy sail over to the next bay, Pointe de l’Espiguette. It was a fabulous first sail with bright blue, calm seas and the perfect amount of wind. We stayed here for two nights to keep refreshing ourselves with the boat and just let the world go by. There is a large nearby beach area that we dinghy-ed over to stretch our legs with lengthy walk. The flat area is ideal for kite surfers, family picnics, letting your dog run for miles. There is also a sailing school for youngsters; a popular activity in Europe.
