Here are some pictures illustrating the process of removing the boat from the water and into the Artemis Leros boatyard for repairs. It is quite an extensive and methodical process. A bit nerve wracking, too! With the boat FINALLY where it needs to be and signing off with the harbor master, we are off to relish in a relaxing beach side lunch.

Then we waited. Our flight to Athens was not until early evening and the beach was small and too hot to lounge about until the flight, so we went to the airport (it was locked) and waited some more. Nonetheless, tired, thirsty, and hungry, we arrived in Athena later in the steamy evening.
